Engine details: Very nice original. However, changed to the Breakerless SE ignition in '04, and now it runs like a Swiss watch.
Other details: Changed from original wheels/covers/20 year-old Goodrich tires to Torq-Thrust D's with Goodrich T/A's for driving safety reasons. Like the look and handling improvement.

Car history:
Bought in August '74 as a street rod for $1800. The previous owner also gave me boxes of original parts! I decided to restore the car instead of having a street rod. Back then, people thought I was nuts restoring an old Vette. But most of the original parts were still available over the Chevy parts counter.

Top Flighted at the NCRS National Convention in 1985. Zora Duntov signed my TF certificate.

Re-discovered the car in '03 after several years of storage. Re-kindled my love affair with it. We tinker together constantly. I drive this car year round in acceptable weather.
